Immediate opening: we are hiring a car painter in Grundy County, Tennessee. You will work in an automotive paint and panel workshop. Day to day you will check the colour match under booth lights against the maker's swatch; wipe down panels with degreaser and a tack cloth before spraying; sand and feather-edge damaged panels before painting; mix two-pack (2K) clear coat with hardener in the correct ratio; set the spray gun air pressure and fan pattern for an even finish. What we are looking for: • Physically fit to stand, bend and crouch for long periods • Able to mix paint by weight on a scale • Comfortable working in a spray booth with full PPE Part-time with flexible hours.
