Refrigeration technician • Penobscot County, Maine

Vacancy available: we are hiring a refrigeration technician in Penobscot County, Maine. You will work at a food processing plant. Day to day you will trace electrical circuits with a multimeter; read suction and discharge pressures on the manifold gauges; recover refrigerant gas before opening a sealed system; braze copper pipework and joints with an oxy-acetylene torch; replace compressors, filter driers and expansion valves. What we are looking for: • Willing to work at heights and inside cold rooms • 2+ years hands-on experience in refrigeration and AC • Able to read wiring diagrams and pressure-temperature charts At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
