We are recruiting: gtaw welder (Texas)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a gtaw welder in Goliad County, Texas. The job is in a pharmaceutical piping facility. On the job you will handle: • Inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion • Set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator • Read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters • Carry out 6G pipe welds where required • Grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper • Weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges Requirements: • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
