Now hiring: we are hiring a gypsum plasterer in Union Parish, Louisiana. You will be based at a plastering and dry lining contractor. The role involves: • Float and rule off walls to a flat surface with a straightedge • Fix and set angle beads, stop beads and corner beads • Check walls for plumb and level as you go • Dot-and-dab plasterboard to walls and ceilings • Skim plasterboard to a smooth finish ready for decoration • Apply bonding and browning undercoats to brickwork and blockwork What we are looking for: • Willing to work on both new build and refurbishment sites • Physically fit for lifting bags of plaster and mixing all day Part-time with flexible hours.
