Argon welder wanted in Brown County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring an argon welder in Brown County, Kansas. You will be based in a pipe-spool fabrication yard. You will carry out 6G pipe welds where required; inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion; set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal; weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions; run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints; back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring). You should have: • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
