We are recruiting: offshore rigger (Kansas)

Vacancy available: we are hiring an offshore rigger in Dickinson County, Kansas. You will be based at a shipyard. Requirements: • Comfortable working at height and in confined spaces • Willing to work shifts, weekends and outdoors in all weather Day to day you will attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks; check sling angles to stay within the working load limit; calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift; direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio; tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear; guide loads through tight openings into their final position.
