Great opportunity: we are hiring a presser in Pulaski County, Arkansas. The job is in a busy laundry. Requirements: • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine On the job you will handle: • Fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press • Clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents • Remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron • Keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure • Check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots • Spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts 2+ years on the tools preferred.
