Requirements: • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor You will melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces; skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring; make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities; pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles; operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant.
