Fabricator-welder — Las Animas County

Now hiring: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Las Animas County, Colorado. The role involves: • Set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks • TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer • Feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool • Clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush • Strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal Ideal candidate: • Good eyesight for fine sheet-metal work • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard Full-time, day shift.
