Requirements: • 2+ years experience working as a butcher • Comfortable working in cold rooms and chillers • Clean, presentable and friendly at the counter On a typical shift you will mince meat and prepare keema on the grinder; trim fat, sinew and silver skin off the cuts; monitor chiller and freezer temperatures to keep the cold chain; dress the chilled counter and rotate stock by date; sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone; keep halal cuts separated and clearly handled. 3+ years on the tools preferred.
