Occupational health and safety officer wanted in Rawlins County

Vacancy available: we are hiring an occupational health and safety officer in Rawlins County, Kansas. You should have: • Clear spoken delivery for toolbox talks and inductions • Valid first aid and basic firefighting training On a typical shift you will investigate near-misses and incidents and file root-cause reports; check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements; inspect scaffolding, full-body harnesses and lifelines for work at height; update the risk register and method statements (RAMS); carry out toolbox talks with the crew before each shift; conduct job hazard analysis (JHA) on every new task. Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. Full-time with occasional weekends. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. $4,300 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
