Tyre and wheel fitter — Kidder County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a tyre and wheel fitter in Kidder County, North Dakota. Requirements: • Basic record-keeping and customer-facing skills • Awareness of workshop health and safety • Confident operating a tyre changer and wheel balancer Your main tasks: • Check tread depth with a depth gauge and spot uneven wear • Vulcanize larger cuts on commercial tyres • Jack up vehicles safely and set them on axle stands • Fit new tyres onto rims and seat the bead correctly • Torque the wheel nuts to spec with a torque wrench • Keep the tyre bay tidy and dispose of scrap tyres Pay around $3,400 per month, based on your experience. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
