Horizontal milling machine operator — St. Mary Parish

Vacancy available: we are hiring a horizontal milling machine operator in St. Mary Parish, Louisiana. You will work at a fabrication and machining plant. On a typical shift you will machine slots, pockets, flats, keyways and contours to drawing; load and edit CNC programs (G-code) at the Fanuc/Siemens control; set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe; set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter. You should have: • Proficient with micrometers, vernier callipers and dial gauges • 2-3 years' hands-on milling experience Six days a week, one day off.
