Industrial sewing operator — Madison County

Join our team: we are hiring an industrial sewing operator in Madison County, Ohio. You will work on an export house sewing floor. Day to day you will sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required; press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges; trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go; meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality; match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching; set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers. What we are looking for: • ITI / tailoring certificate is a plus • 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory 2+ years on the tools preferred. Rotating shifts.
