Now hiring: we are hiring a sheet metal welder in Saint Joseph County, Indiana. The job is at a busy fabrication workshop. On the job you will handle: • Sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size • Tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run • Feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool • Run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec • Inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut Requirements: • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces Full-time with occasional weekends.
