Vacancy available: we are hiring a crane operator in Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole Council, England. The role involves: • Backfill and compact soil around pipes and foundations • Work in coordination with the banksman and ground crew on signals • Operate the boom, stick and bucket to dig, lift and place material • Load and unload the machine on and off the low-loader safely • Carry out daily pre-start checks on engine oil, coolant, hydraulic fluid and track tension • Read site drawings and follow the batter and slope profiles What we are looking for: • Awareness of site safety, PPE and lifting procedures • Valid heavy equipment / plant operator licence • Comfortable working long shifts in dust, heat and noise Performance bonus on top of base pay. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
