MIG/MAG welder — Pontotoc County

Join our team: we are hiring a MIG/MAG welder in Pontotoc County, Mississippi. You will be based at an automobile body shop. Ideal candidate: • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently • Steady hand and good eyesight for tight tolerances The role involves: • Change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch • Set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator • Bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding • Load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls • Lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints • Grind back and re-weld any defective runs At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
