Great opportunity: lifting rigger (Pennsylvania)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a lifting rigger in Lehigh County, Pennsylvania. On a typical shift you will guide loads through tight openings into their final position; establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area; rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position; set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads; inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use; tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear. What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear Full-time, day shift. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Walk-in interviews this week.
