Fabricator-welder wanted in La Paz County

Now hiring: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in La Paz County, Arizona. On the job you will handle: • Weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges • Prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run • Back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring) • Strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode • Select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job • Feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle Requirements: • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection Full-time with occasional weekends.
