AC installation technician • Cabarrus County, North Carolina

Great opportunity: we are hiring an AC installation technician in Cabarrus County, North Carolina. You will be based at an HVAC contractor's workshop. Requirements: • Can read electrical and piping schematics • Confident brazing copper and running nitrogen pressure tests • Presentable and polite with customers on site Your main tasks: • Charge and top up refrigerant (R32, R410A) off the manifold gauges • Cut, flare and bend copper pipe for the liquid and suction lines • Check superheat and subcooling to confirm the correct gas charge • Insulate the suction line with Armaflex nitrile sleeving • Clean filters, blower wheels and condenser coils during servicing Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
