Stainless steel welder — Valley County

Join our team: we are hiring a stainless steel welder in Valley County, Idaho. Requirements: • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings The role involves: • Read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters • Weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges • Select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job • Back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring) • Clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding • Set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal Part-time with flexible hours.
