Pipe tig welder • Dakota County, Nebraska

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a pipe tig welder in Dakota County, Nebraska. On a typical shift you will clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding; feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle; run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints; set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal; carry out 6G pipe welds where required; weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions. What we are looking for: • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through Rotating shifts. Overtime paid at a premium rate. $3,300 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
