Great opportunity: uPVC window fabricator (New York)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring an uPVC window fabricator in Livingston County, New York. You will be based on a window-and-door production line. You will fit fly screens, sills and trickle vents; check the frame for square by measuring the diagonals; fit EPDM gaskets and brush-pile weather seals along the rails; crimp glazing beads to length and snap them into the frame; drill drainage and pressure-equalisation slots in the outer frame; fit espagnolette locking gear, friction hinges, handles and keeps to the sash. You should have: • Knowledge of common hardware systems such as espagnolette and friction hinges • Driving licence for measure-up and site-fitting visits • Able to work to deadlines in a busy workshop Full-time, day shift.
