Now hiring: we are hiring a quality checker in Coventry, England. The job is at a busy manufacturing plant. Requirements: • Willing to work rotating and night shifts • Confident using vernier callipers, micrometers and gauges Day to day you will inspect welds, paint finish and surface defects under inspection lighting; calibrate and verify hand gauges before each shift; draw samples from batches according to AQL sampling plans; verify dimensions against the tolerance limits on the technical drawing; record measurements on inspection sheets and SPC charts; check visually for scratches, dents, burrs and colour variation. £2,250 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
