Articulated lorry driver — Bronx County

Vacancy available: we are hiring an articulated lorry driver in Bronx County, New York. You will work at a haulage company. Day-to-day duties: • Present documents at weighbridges and check posts • Check tyre pressures, engine oil, coolant and brake fluid levels • Check load weight and axle distribution against permitted limits • Secure loads with ratchet straps, chains and load bars • Operate tail-lifts and pump trucks during loading and unloading Ideal candidate: • Current Driver CPC qualification card • Clean driving record with no recent endorsements • Minimum 2 years' long-haul experience 2+ years on the tools preferred.
