Lift technician wanted in Cortland County

Join our team: we are hiring a lift technician in Cortland County, New York. You will be based on a lift modernisation project. You should have: • 2+ years on lift installation and maintenance • Willing to join the on-call/emergency breakdown rota The role involves: • Measure rope tension and check for broken strands • Test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake • Adjust door operator timing and re-levelling accuracy • Respond to entrapment call-outs and release trapped passengers • Mount and align landing doors, sills and car door operators • Wire up the controller, encoder and limit switches At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. Pay around $30 per hour, based on your experience. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
