Ladle pourer wanted in Cass County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a ladle pourer in Cass County, North Dakota. You will work at an aluminium die-casting plant. You will carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand; check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring; shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale; mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture; inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects; apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
