Urgent requirement: we are hiring a heavy goods vehicle driver in King County, Washington. You will be based on long-haul routes across the country. Requirements: • Valid digital tachograph card • Good knowledge of driving-hours and tachograph rules Day-to-day duties: • Couple and uncouple the trailer and check the fifth-wheel lock • Carry out daily walk-around vehicle checks before setting off • Plan routes and rest stops in line with driving-hours rules • Present documents at weighbridges and check posts • Complete delivery notes, CMR paperwork and proof-of-delivery • Top up AdBlue and refuel at scheduled stops At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
