Escalator technician • Franklin County, Maine

Great opportunity: we are hiring an escalator technician in Franklin County, Maine. You will be based in a residential tower block. Day to day you will mount and align landing doors, sills and car door operators; wire up the controller, encoder and limit switches; fill in the service logbook and statutory inspection paperwork; replace worn sheaves, rollers, contactors and relays; respond to entrapment call-outs and release trapped passengers; run load and overload tests with test weights. Ideal candidate: • Willing to join the on-call/emergency breakdown rota • Good head for heights for pit and car-top work Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. We offer $4,800 per month plus benefits. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Six days a week, one day off. Contact us to fix an interview.
