GMAW welder wanted in Broadwater County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a GMAW welder in Broadwater County, Montana. You will be based in a heavy engineering unit. Your main tasks: • Tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing • Maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose • Bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding • Strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc • Check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration • Lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints Ideal candidate: • Knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes • ITI in welder trade or equivalent • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety Pay around $31 per hour, based on your experience.
