Join our team: we are hiring a HVAC-R technician in City of Poquoson, Virginia. Requirements: • Comfortable handling refrigerant gases and gauge manifolds • Physically fit to lift compressors and carry ladders The role involves: • Measure the compressor motor's amperage draw with a clamp meter • Trace leaks with an electronic detector and soap solution • Charge systems with refrigerant (R134a, R410a, R404a) to the correct weight • Read suction and discharge pressures on the manifold gauges • Pull a vacuum on the system and check for trapped moisture $4,600 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
