Great opportunity: cnc turning machinist (England)

Now hiring: we are hiring a cnc turning machinist in Isles of Scilly, England. You will work in a tool room. On a typical shift you will adjust feeds and speeds to control the surface finish; write and edit G-code programs at the control; set up workpieces in three-jaw chucks and collets; check diameters and lengths against the spec sheet. Ideal candidate: • Minimum 2 years on CNC lathes with Fanuc or Siemens controls • Confident with micrometers, vernier calipers and bore gauges • ITI / NCVT certificate in the machinist (turner) trade preferred 3+ years on the tools preferred. Rotating shifts. £2,600 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
