Join our team: we are hiring a head butcher in Akoko North East, Ondo State. You will be based at a halal meat counter. The role involves: • Keep halal cuts separated and clearly handled • Monitor chiller and freezer temperatures to keep the cold chain • Run the band saw to cut cleanly through bone • Sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone • Mince meat and prepare keema on the grinder • Dress the chilled counter and rotate stock by date What we are looking for: • Comfortable working in cold rooms and chillers • Quick and accurate on the weighing scales and order maths • 2+ years experience working as a butcher At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
