Urgent requirement: industrial sewing operator (Iowa)

Great opportunity: we are hiring an industrial sewing operator in Pocahontas County, Iowa. You will be based in a sampling and tailoring workshop. You should have: • ITI / tailoring certificate is a plus • Understands fabric types and how to handle knits versus wovens Day-to-day duties: • Match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching • Meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality • Clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift • Topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish • Attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet 5+ years on the tools preferred.
