You will set up trestles and scaffold boards for ceiling work; check walls for plumb and level as you go; mix gypsum plaster and cement render to a workable consistency; apply tanking and renovating plaster to damp walls. You should have: • Knowledge of different plasters, renders and bonding agents • Able to mix plaster to the right consistency by feel Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
