Finish carpenter wanted in Carter County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a finish carpenter in Carter County, Montana. You will be based in a bespoke joinery workshop. On a typical shift you will fix studwork and plasterboard partitions; finish surfaces with varnish, wax, lacquer or wood stain; cut mortise-and-tenon and dovetail joints with chisels and a mallet; apply edge banding, veneers and laminate to board; lay laminate, engineered and solid wood flooring; assemble bespoke and flat-pack kitchen units and fit worktops. What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of timber types, grades and fixings • Confident with hand and power tools such as saws, routers and planers • Physically fit to lift, kneel and work at height At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time, day shift. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Pay around $3,000 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
