Immediate opening: domestic gas engineer (South Dakota)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a domestic gas engineer in Spink County, South Dakota. The job is at a heating and plumbing contractor. The role involves: • Test combustion and flue gases with a flue gas analyser • Carry out tightness (pressure) tests with a manometer and lock off the supply • Lay and route steel and copper gas pipe runs to the appliance points • Connect combi boilers, water heaters and gas cookers to the supply • Run polyethylene (PE) service pipe and electrofusion-weld the joints What we are looking for: • Own hand tools and pipe wrenches • Valid gas fitter's licence and Gas Safe (or local) registration • Able to read isometric and site drawings At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
