Now hiring: AC installation technician (South Carolina)

Vacancy available: we are hiring an AC installation technician in Bamberg County, South Carolina. The job is at a refrigeration and cooling firm. Day-to-day duties: • Braze pipe joints and pressure-test with dry nitrogen for leaks • Core-drill through brick and concrete walls to route the refrigerant piping • Install ducting, grilles and VRF/VRV branch boxes • Mount indoor and outdoor split units on wall brackets and level them • Run and lag the condensate drain line with the right fall • Recover the refrigerant before dismantling or relocating a unit You should have: • 2+ years hands-on split and cassette AC installation experience • Physically fit to lift outdoor units and work in tight spaces • Comfortable working at height on ladders and scaffolds At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time with occasional weekends. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Walk-in interviews this week.
