Counter butcher — Ise/Orun

Great opportunity: we are hiring a counter butcher in Ise/Orun, Ekiti State. You will be based at an abattoir or slaughterhouse. The role involves: • Break down beef, mutton and chicken carcasses into primal cuts • Sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone • Stuff and link fresh sausages with casings • Portion steaks, chops and cutlets to the ordered weights You should have: • Knowledge of halal slaughter and handling where required • Physically fit to lift carcasses and stand all day • Able to use a band saw, grinder and sausage filler At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
