Argon welder wanted in Saint Charles Parish

Urgent requirement: we are hiring an argon welder in Saint Charles Parish, Louisiana. The job is in a pipe-spool fabrication yard. Ideal candidate: • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium Day-to-day duties: • Grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper • Select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job • Carry out 6G pipe welds where required • Set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator • Clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding Pay around $4,700 per month, based on your experience.
