Great opportunity: we are hiring a garment presser in Klickitat County, Washington. You will work in a busy laundry. Day to day you will sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number; check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots; give each garment a final press before packing; use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics. Requirements: • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases Part-time with flexible hours.
