We are recruiting: we are hiring a heavy equipment operator in Nicollet County, Minnesota. The job is on a busy construction site. What we are looking for: • Able to read levels, pegs and basic site drawings • Knowledge of pre-start inspections and basic machine maintenance The role involves: • Carry out daily pre-start checks on engine oil, coolant, hydraulic fluid and track tension • Break rock and concrete with the hydraulic breaker attachment • Operate the boom, stick and bucket to dig, lift and place material • Work in coordination with the banksman and ground crew on signals • Keep the cab clean and complete the daily machine logbook $4,100 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
