Trowel-trade bricklayer — Lewis County

Now hiring: we are hiring a trowel-trade bricklayer in Lewis County, Idaho. The role involves: • Installing damp-proof courses, lintels and cavity trays • Spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel • Buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge • Mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser • Building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation • Cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder What we are looking for: • Own trowel, spirit level and basic hand tools • Reliable timekeeping and able to hit daily brick targets 5+ years on the tools preferred.
