Fitter on the line — Marengo County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a fitter on the line in Marengo County, Alabama. You will work in a packaging and assembly workshop. Day-to-day duties: • Fit and bolt components onto the chassis as it moves along the conveyor • Clean down the workstation and keep it to 5S standard • Log defects and place rejected units in the rework bay • Pick the correct parts from the kit bins and feed them to the line • Tighten fasteners to the specified torque using a power screwdriver or torque wrench • Follow the work instruction sheet for each station What we are looking for: • Previous experience on a production or assembly line preferred • Careful handling of tools and components 1+ years on the tools preferred. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
