Urgent requirement: argon arc welder (Oregon)

Join our team: we are hiring an argon arc welder in Gilliam County, Oregon. What we are looking for: • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces Day to day you will read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing; clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding; keep the arc length and travel speed consistent; TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer; select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel; strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal. 4+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
