Now hiring: we are hiring a mobile crane operator in Effingham County, Georgia. Day to day you will climb and inspect the tower crane mast and tie-ins; keep every lift within the safe working load (SWL); work out the load weight and the lifting radius; help set out the lift plan and barrier off the exclusion zone; read and interpret the load chart before every lift; fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure. You should have: • Physically fit to climb ladders and work long shifts • Proven experience on mobile, tower or overhead cranes Meals and transport allowance provided. Rotating shifts.
