Urgent requirement: GTAW welder (Kansas)

Join our team: we are hiring a GTAW welder in Morton County, Kansas. You will be based in a sheet-metal fabrication unit. On the job you will handle: • Strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal • Tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run • Weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through • Sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size • Clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding You should have: • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination • Able to pass a weld test on the spot $2,500 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
