Great opportunity: we are hiring a rigger in Monroe County, Iowa. The job is on a high-rise building site. Your main tasks: • Secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists • Guide loads through tight openings into their final position • Attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks • Establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area • Set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads • Take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings Requirements: • Willing to work shifts, weekends and outdoors in all weather • Proven experience as a rigger on construction or industrial sites • Ability to read lift plans and rigging diagrams Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
