Safety officer wanted in Dona Ana County

Now hiring: we are hiring a safety officer in Dona Ana County, New Mexico. Day-to-day duties: • Verify lifting gear, slings, shackles and crane test certificates • Carry out toolbox talks with the crew before each shift • Audit housekeeping and barricading around excavations and open edges • Stop unsafe work and brief the supervisor on corrective action Requirements: • Strong record-keeping and incident-reporting skills • Comfortable working at height and inside confined spaces • Physically fit for full-site inspections on foot At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. Meals and transport allowance provided. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
