Vacancy available: GMAW welder (Florida)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a GMAW welder in Marion County, Florida. You will be based on a structural steel site. The role involves: • Lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints • Set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness • Control distortion with a balanced welding sequence • Set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator • Strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc • Tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing Ideal candidate: • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test • Willing to work shifts and overtime • ITI in welder trade or equivalent At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. $240 per day, negotiable for the right hands.
